Louis Vuitton Monogram Panda

Takashi Murakami stikes again in full force. After creating the Monogram Cerises line along with Marc Jacobs, his creative talent gave birth to the new Monogram Panda line of bags and accessories. Don’t be fooled, this series is not new. Murakami released limited editions of monogram bags with Pandas and other characters a few years ago. However, the limited eds were only available in Japan. The line then included a variety of bags featuring the Panda, including the round coin pouch, agenda, billfold, the vavin and others.
To me, the Panda looks a little freakish. Not to mention, it might be cute on a different backdrop, but on the classic monogram…? More than questionable. But as long as it sells and the Vuitton fanbase is not revolting, Murakami must be doing something right. As about only online store, ELuxury sells the pictured Panda keychain for $140.
Searching online archives, I’ve managed to collect two images from the past Murakami Panda collection for you to appreciate:

Luella Baby Gisele Leather Tote

The straps! The hardware! The structured shape! The colors! Surely one of the most fabulous totes in the world today. May I introduce:
London designer Luella Bartley’s “Baby Gisele” tote. Owned and carried by many starlets such as Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, Reese Witherspoon, Kim Cattrall, Cate Blanchett, and Anna Friel, this lovable tote makes its standing. It features fine calfskin leather in black, green, lilac or pink, a flap front with signature strap closure, and two adorable Luella signature heart fobs. The straps measure 17 inches, while the bag itself measures 11.5 by 6 by 8 inches. Call this treasure yours for a mere $600.

The Fontanelli Golfball Holder

Men love to golf. Will women ever understand it fully? Probably not, since golfing isn’t typically the woman’s sport of choice. What I do know is that men will drop thousands of dollars on golf clubs, bags, shoes, balls, etc. Treat your golfin’ man with this exquisite goodie:
The Fontanelli Golfball Holder was made in mind for the man or woman who adores the perfectly cut greens and Tiger Woods. This piece has room for four balls, four tees and also a snap on the back to attach it to your belt. When it comes time for that one perfect shot, what better way to start it off than with the prized ball nicely resting in an Italian leather case on ur back belt?
The holder is italian-made of fine, dark brown leather and goes over the counter for 65 bucks.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2005 Handbags

Louis Vuitton never ceases to amaze me. With their high end fashion and exquisite taste the Louis Vuitton Fall Fashion line would make any girl or guy envious. When you think of LV, you think of the classic monogram canvas, the dark brown leather background with the LV gold print.
The Fall line focuses on the famous LV pattern with some new and intriguing accessories. What I noticed and love was the emphasis on small hand totes, rather than over-the-shoulder bags. Although big bags are practical, a small handbag draws focus to the outfit and the girl!

Vivian Alexander Easter Egg Purse

Eggs are made to be eaten, not worn. After finding these “egg” purses all we can ask ourselves is what is the fashion world coming to? Don’t get me wrong, the price tag is high and the adornments are lovely. Who would actually go out in public wearing one of these? With Easter on its way, Vivian Alexander released the Easter Egg Purse. This “bag” is decorated on the outside with pastel easter eggs lined with little gems on a pearly white background. The inside of the bag is lined with none other than the finest sand washed silk. Other perks to the bag include the removable gold strap and upon opening a large beveled mirror in the top.
As odd as we find the purse, we are not saying that Vivian Alexander’s work is not the most intricate and ornate work out there. The Vivian Alexander Imperial Coronation Egg was shipped to Rome and used in the filming of the highlight heist in Warner Bros. Ocean’s 12. Yet despite the accolades received on Alexander’s work, I would never ever be seen wearing his purses. After stumbling over this new “egg”purse all we can think is how rotten!

Louis Vuitton Annette Travel Bag

We all travel. And we all carry luggage. The thing about luggage is that usually we don’t think about it as a fashion statement; beleive me, it is. Have you ever thought about how many people you pass from airport to airport, not to mention picking up your luggage at baggage claim. Do you want to be that person picking up the unmatching, worn in, ugly baggage or the one who everyone watches picking up your matching LV baggage? I damn well know I’d love to be envied, rather than pitied.Do us all a favor, trash the old stuff and buy yourself some totally trendy luggage.
I suggest the totally obviously hip Louis Vuitton Annette luggage on wheels. For a short weekend trip, this will do the trick. The bag allows for easy travel and sports the LV black monogram canvas with leather trim, sturdy noiseless wheels, and a double zipper with a pretty spacious inner compartment. The bag is not huge, but can be used as a carry on bag and fit nicely overhead so you can avoid baggage claim, which is alwaya a huge plus. As with any other Louis Vuitton bag the price isn’t cheap, but who cares if you can look that good. Goes for a steep price tag of $1,780.

Fendi Pleated Spy Clutch

Fendi have always has always represented the pinnacle of extravagant fashion design, no doubt about that. However, this Pleated Spy Clutch takes bad taste a little over the top. Paying $1,400 for a clutch that looks like road kill on a strap? No thanks. We’d rather go down south, put on a pair of heavy boots and go armadillo stomping. Or go to the local cow ranch and step in warm you-know-what. Same effect, roughly a grand and a half saved.

Juicy Couture LWL Leather Satchel

Juicy’s super-roomy leather satchel is crafted from supple smooth leather with glam gold links and a dangling “J” heart charm. Inside, the logo interior takes sassy orders from gold lam pockets that read, “Shop!” “Hello?” and “Juicy Kiss!”.
Finishing touches include the traditional and sexy large gold metal “J” zipper pull, a key hook, and a matching heart-shaped pocket mirror attached by a cord that declares, “I am the fairest.” The satchel measures a generous 15″ x 6.5″ x 11.5″, while the straps drop 7.5 inches for comfy wearing on your shoulder. For $350, you can call one of ‘em yours. Available at eLuxury.com.

Poire Phone Pouches

These cute lil’ pouchy things are Japan’s slick contribution to the worldwide boom to keep your tech gear in style! The nippon import comes in a vast variety of colors and themes (the elephant one being my absolute fave) and costs a mere $10 at the MimmoBaby store.
Grab your fashionable Razor cell, stuff it in the pouch, hook it to your belt or purse (no, it’s not supposed to be worn on your pinky), and off you go. Why carry all your misc. belongings in style when you can treat your cell special, too. Afterall, we all have the cell-o-philiac in us.

Want to nab the look from MTV’s hottest show Laguna Beach?

Well look no further. I myself loved the bag LC carried throughout MTV’s hit show Laguna Beach and realized that bag is quite the growing trend. A newly growing company is making this same hobo style bag, Lolli by Reincarnation, which runs upwards of $300 plus dollars for that totally trendy and practical bag.
Stars such as Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen Twins have been seen sporting the newly trendy Lolli bag. The perks to this bag are the plethora of colors offered that can suit any girls needs for any outfit, but the price is a bit high. Starting at $300 for the medium bag and running up over $1500 for the bag made of Ostrich leather, the Loli bag may not be in everybody’s price range.
Have no fear, there is a way you can grab the same style for a quarter of the price, and nobody has to know. LC from Laguna Beach did this, and pulled off the bag quite nicely. A hobo style ring bag made by MELIE BIANCO is taking the same trend as the stars but costs between $50 and $65. So quickly girls, go steal either style, whichever suits your budget, and grab the hottest trend of the season.

Celebrities and their Handbags

Whether it’s Prada, Gucci, Fendi or any other top name couture bag, celebrities are never seen without the hottest bag on the market. So do you want to nab that celebrity style? Of course! Who doesn’t? But the problem is the exorbitant price that comes with each bag they carry. So my advice is, check out their pictures, and find a look-a-like designer for less.

Top Designers Worst Nightmare: The Counterfeit Market

It would be a blatant lie if any girl were to say she does not want at least one top of the line designer handbag. But reality sets in, and the thoughts of spending thousands on some fabric and a zipper seems to make everyone cringe and only lust for the bag more.
Why spend $5,000 on a designer Prada clutch, when you can buy it for $50 on the streets of NYC? Although many want to sport the latest and most expensive handbag, most cannot afford it. So this is where replicas come in. Is a replica purse actually a morality issue? I think not. Although designer’s may be mad their purse is being knocked off and sold on the streets, I would hope some would find it flattering that their design is that wanted. So why not?
The idea of one day reaching the level of success at which I can spend exorbitant amounts of money on designer clothing, purses, wallets and jewelry is a goal that I, along with many of my femme friends, hope to achieve. However, in this glorious day of the 21st century, I can find these normally-expensive items for much lesser quality and price.
Thank God for Chinatown.

The traveling house bag… a must have

Are you one of the ladies that needs to carry everything in her purse? Frankly, whether you are carrying 5 things or 50 things, a large styled purse is a must for anyone.

Rent-a-Purse - What a novel idea

Movie rentals, tux rentals, car rentals and now purse rentals?? Seems totally outlandish, but actually who came up with such a brilliant idea? Although we all want to be like the famous quad from Sex and the City, face it girls, we can’t always have a different bag for a different day, attitude, outfit, and occasion.
So the brains behind Bag, Borrow or Steal have devised a one of a kind idea in purse rental. You can either sign up for Diva, Princess, or Trendsetter status; Diva being the most expensive bags. Within your status (determined by the price you pay for your monthly fee) you can rent a bag for as long as you want. And when you decide you need a change, send the bag back and choose a new bag. The idea behind the concept appeals to the girls who want to keep up with the always changing purse trend for each new season. So I say why not?

We have the inside scoop here to some of the best priced purses on the internet, and hey, admit it, who wouldn’t want the real thing for half the price??
